In this post, here are three recipes from Jamie Oliver that prove once again that cauliflower can be delicious!
So, today's program includes cauliflower steak, cauliflower "rice" with corn, herbs, nuts and pomegranate, and cauliflower pancakes with almonds!
Cauliflower steak
In the first recipe, you need to cut the cauliflower into pieces 2–2.5 centimeters thick, fry them in olive oil until golden brown and put them in the oven for 15 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees so that the cabbage is thoroughly baked. Serve with a mixture of onions, garlic, herbs, vinegar and olive oil.
Cauliflower "rice"
To prepare this dish, you need to cut the cabbage into florets, grind in a food processor and fry in olive oil. Then turn off the heat and cover the pan with foil, leaving the cabbage to rise for 5-6 minutes. After that, you can salt the cabbage and add walnuts, almond flakes, greens, corn and pomegranate seeds. Basically, this cabbage can be complemented with almost any supplement that you deem appropriate. For example, finely chopped tomatoes, hot chili peppers, and corn.
Cauliflower pancakes with almonds
Ingredients:
- 200 g of cauliflower;
- 8 tbsp. tablespoons of ground almonds;
- 4 eggs;
- 4 tbsp. spoons of any plant milk (soy, almond, rice, coconut, and so on);
- a pinch of salt.
Preparation
Everything is mixed until smooth in a food processor and fried. Served with anything. In the video recipe, bacon is used as an addition, but personally I would make a sauce from yogurt without additives, salt, black pepper, herbs and garlic (in this case, the amount of each ingredient depends on your taste).
