The Yandex application has received functions similar to Google Now. The program now has hints about public transport timetables, movie shows, prices in stores and the weather.

After today's update, Yandex has become a universal assistant: the program will tell you how quickly the required minibus will arrive, what films are shown in the cinema, where it is better to dine. Previously, this information was already in your smartphone, but scattered: one application for the weather, another for transport, and the third for finding restaurants or bars. Search within the framework of one program will simplify the use of your smartphone, save time and some memory.

Search for any places nearby. From pharmacies to bars. The application will provide additional information about them: opening hours, contact details, availability of payment terminals. The new Yandex takes into account the circumstances of the search (time of day, day of the week, weather) and produces adapted results: in the morning it will tell you where the early breakfasts are prepared, at night - where you can find the pharmacies on duty. If the establishments are about to close or are closed today, they will not be shown.

Yandex builds a route to each of the found locations - pedestrian, car or municipal transport.

Transport timetable. Yandex knows when the required bus will arrive at your stop. You can also track the movement of vehicles around the city (options adjacent to "Yandex. Transport").

Movie poster. Each hint card - synopsis, rating on "KinoPoisk" and reviews about the tape. You can buy a ticket directly in the app. Yandex also indicates films that will premiere in the near future.

Work offline. For full-fledged work "Yandex" needs the Internet, but some information in the application is also available offline. For example, the phone number of Sberbank or an article about Jennifer Lawrence on the Wiki. The selection of offline data is based on popular search queries and is currently available only for iOS devices.

Warnings. Yandex will announce the most important news. For example, a sharp deterioration in weather is expected - because of snowfalls it is better to take the metro. Such tips will be displayed on the main screen of the smartphone in the form of cards. Tap on this element will open the details - a detailed weather forecast or a map of traffic jams in the city.
