Apple's iconic touchpad just got better. It now detects pressure, four separate sensors and a separate Taptic Engine controller, just like in the Watch, are responsible for this. Thanks to this, the Force Touch touchpad is able to recognize many degrees of pressing: a weak press - the usual click, strong - opens an additional menu of options, for example, displaying an address on a map, showing a file preview or adding a new contact by a selected number. In addition, there is an accelerometer inside, the capabilities of which were used, for example, in the dynamic control of the playback speed of a media file.

The motherboard was at least halved, the fans were completely removed, and the rest of the space was filled with a battery. At the same time, the batteries received an asymmetric shape and are arranged in layers in the case, filling the internal space as efficiently as possible. This and the power-efficient Intel Core M processor should keep the notebook running for a full day of use. In numbers, this is 9 hours of Internet browsing and 10 hours of video viewing.

Rumors have been confirmed about a new universal USB-C port that combines a charging connector and has support for miniDisplay Port, HDMI and other popular ports via third-party adapters. This means that you only find it and the headphone jack on the MacBook.

The new MacBook will be available in one of three colors familiar from mobile gadgets: Silver, Space Gray and Gold. The younger model with a processor of 1, 1 GHz and 256 GB of internal memory will cost US buyers $ 1,299, and the more powerful older model with doubled storage - $ 1,599. All models come with 8 GB of RAM.
