If you know your posture is poor, try the Nekoze app. It uses a FaceTime camera to track your position in front of the computer and give signals if your posture needs to be aligned.

The Japanese have a different outlook on life. And cats. Especially cats. The word nekoze is translated from Japanese as "stoop", neko - "cat". This gave the developers a reason to turn on the sound of a meowing cat every time you slouch.

Anyway, Nekoze is a pretty useful app that sometimes lacks precision. Your posture is tracked using the FaceTime camera, so privacy concerns may not use the app. Constant use of the camera is associated with another drawback - the rapid discharge of the battery. But if there is an outlet nearby, then you should not worry about it.

If your posture is correct, the app will be silent. As soon as it gets wrong or Nekoze loses sight of you, you will receive notifications accompanied by meowing sounds. I highly recommend turning off the sound of the application in the settings, since the meowing hits my ears so much that I inadvertently wanted to break the computer screen.

In the settings, you can also adjust the accuracy of the determination. I advise you not to set it to the maximum, since in this case Nekoze will make noise with or without reason.

Nekoze is a free app, but for several reasons (inaccuracy, low battery), I recommend downloading it only to those who have posture problems and want to fix it. And turn off the sound, otherwise you will not be understood.
