Tapbots has released Tweetbot 3 for macOS - a new version of one of the best Twitter clients. The application now has a dark theme and ribbon filters. With the help of the latter, you can, for example, include or exclude a particular topic from news. It is also possible to make videos in the feed play automatically.
Key elements of the Tweetbot interface have also been updated. The notification feed now includes both mentions and activities like followings and retweets. The new sidebar, which can be hidden, allows you to quickly jump to the correspondence with a particular user or saved search query.
Twitter announced some time ago that it was going to make some radical changes to its API. But Tapbots assures that Tweetbot will hardly be affected by this. “The most that can happen,” writes Engadget, “the app will stop showing notifications for some actions, including likes and mentions. Alerts about direct messages and subscriptions can come with a delay of 1-2 minutes."
Tweetbot 3 is available in the App Store at a price of 749 rubles. The cost is the same for old and new users.
