1. Kitchen Stories

Kitchen Stories is a handy yet very beautiful app containing an impressive collection of recipes.

The recipes are grouped here by category: Best Breakfast & Snacks, Hearty Dinners, Vegan Meals, and more. In addition, Kitchen Stories has a post search and filtering feature. With a couple of taps, you can find dishes that contain a special ingredient or that belong to a particular cuisine.

True, you cannot add your own dishes to the application. And the localization of many recipes is not up to par.

Quite an interesting app that has an entertaining Snap'n'Cook function. It works like this: you find what ingredients you have in your fridge, mark them in the search, and then shake your phone. And the program shows what can be prepared from all this.

The app is very popular abroad and allows users to add their own recipes, so there are tons of options from all over the world. True, there were just one or two Russian dishes. Although our native dumplings, borscht and cutlets are available, and of different types.

RecipeBook has localization, but it is lame - the translation is automatic. However, it is easy to understand the recipes.

3. The best recipes in the world

To be honest, the base of What Are We Cooking? Is not very large - about 850 recipes, but it is constantly being updated. In addition, you can add your own food options to the application. The program has a built-in shopping list, where you can add products from the recipes that you are going to try.

Those who are generous with 45 rubles for the premium version will have access to a package of additional recipes and the ability to send shopping lists via e-mail and instant messengers.

5. Cookpad

A very nice application with a clean interface, which also lacks ads and intrusive offers to buy the premium version. Recipes are added here by users, which you can subscribe to, comment on their culinary creations, and even send them private messages. It looks like a social network, where instead of cats - photos of borscht and cutlets.

There are many recipes. There are drinks, desserts, meat dishes, dietary dishes, salads, and pastries. In the lists by category, you can find national dishes - Belarusian, Caucasian, Tatar and others. There are, for example, recipes for Muslims here. Or vegans. True, they are not marked by separate categories and are searched only by search.

An indisputable plus of the Smachno application is an extensive recipe database. An insignificant disadvantage is not a very user-friendly interface. 7. Chef Cat

A nice app with a bunch of recipes - there are about 5,000 of them, all divided into categories and well searched for. It is useful that the program has a built-in timer so that you do not mix up exactly what and how long to cook or fry. Just tap its icon next to the next step, set the time and click "Save".

A shopping list, the ability to share recipes, comment on them and add your own is also present. There is a good advanced search mode - by ingredients, national cuisines, vegetarian, halal or dietary dishes, and so on.

The only thing that annoys ChefKot is the section with … logic games in the side tab. Why is it in a cookbook? Apparently, so as not to get bored while the jellied meat is being cooked.

Patee has very high quality step-by-step recipes. Each stage of preparation is provided with photographs and descriptions. Used by chefs from all over the world, Yummly contains thousands of recipes from a wide variety of people. It is useful if you want to diversify your diet and find out what people eat in some Brazil or New Zealand.

10. My CookBook

This app is different from all of the above. It does not have its own recipe database - instead, it can collect dishes from the Internet and save the process of their preparation in a convenient step-by-step form, with pictures and a list of ingredients. The end result is a stylish digital notebook for an infinite number of dishes.

You can search for recipes directly through the search in the application - it gives out options from the Web and offers to immediately add them to the cookbook. A description will be displayed on a separate tab, on the next - a list of products, on another - cooking. If you wish, you can edit the saved recipe by adding something from yourself. And then share it with your friends or send it to the note manager.

An even cooler feature of My CookBook is the ability to save recipes from any site in the browser, for example, from Lifehacker.
