Learn how not to be distracted by advertising and save time by reading only what you are interested in.
After the implementation of the algorithmic feed on Instagram, you have to flip through kilometers of posts, making your way through the jungle of advertising and information noise to get to the posts for which you visited. If you are tired of wasting a lot of time on this, there is a great solution - to read the feed via RSS.
The point is to create an RSS feed for the profile or hashtag of interest, and then read it in your favorite RSS reader. It sounds a little strange, but it's actually quite convenient. Here's what to do.
Step one. Create an RSS feed
Instagram doesn't have a built-in RSS feed tool, so you'll need to use one of the third-party services. For example, Webstagram or any other.
To form a feed via Webstagram, you just need to add the profile name or hashtag to the end of the corresponding link:
- for profiles -
- for hashtags -
Step two. Subscribe to the RSS feed
Once we have a link that can be imported into any RSS reader, all that remains is to subscribe to it. This can be done from the reader application or from your aggregator service. The second option is preferable: you can read the feed on any of your devices and sync it. As an example, let's try to subscribe to the RSS links generated in the previous step via Feedly.
1. Open Feedly and click on the Add content button.
2. Insert our link into the search bar and click on it.
3. Click Follow and choose which folder to add the subscription to.
4. Done!
Step three. We read
That's all. You can now view Instagram posts through any RSS reader on your smartphone, tablet, computer, or browser. It looks something like this.

On Twitter, you can now view the feed in chronological order
A special button is responsible for this. In the near future, all Twitter users will have access to a button that allows them to view posts in chronological order. Previously, the feed first displayed those publications that might be most interesting to a person.
