This version of frozen yogurt consists of only three ingredients and differs from its counterparts in a light sweet-sour and even slightly salty taste due to the cream cheese in the base. Ingredients:
- 225 g yogurt;
- 160 g cream cheese;
- 3 tablespoons of honey.
Combine all the ingredients together. At this stage, you can add any flavor you like: mint extract, some vanilla or rum. The degree of sweetness of the dessert, like the sweeteners used, can be varied.
Beat the base of the future ice cream using a mixer or blender for 2-3 minutes. During this time, the mixture will become more airy and homogeneous.
Distribute the yogurt in any freezer-friendly shape, then send it to the freezer.
Like regular ice cream made without an ice cream maker, this yogurt will need to be whipped every half hour to prevent large ice crystals from forming.
After 6 hours, the frozen treat will be ready.
Serve frozen yogurt with anything from fruit to syrups, chocolate, and honey.
