Ingredients

For syrup:

  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1 glass of water;
  • zest of one lemon.

For lemonade:

  • 1 ½ cups of coffee;
  • 1 glass of lemon juice;
  • 1 glass of syrup;
  • 2 cups tonic
  • ice cubes, pieces of citrus - for serving.

Start with a simple syrup. You can immediately cook it for future use: it is well stored and can complement any summer cocktail.

Pour sugar into a saucepan, add lemon zest and cover everything with water. Leave on fire until it boils and the sugar crystals are completely dissolved. Strain and store the prepared syrup in a well-sealed bottle in the refrigerator.

Now combine the coffee with the syrup and lemon juice and then pour over the tonic. For lemonade, you can take both freshly brewed coffee and the remains of the morning.
