Today we want to offer you a very healthy and simple ice cream recipe with just two ingredients - bananas and strawberries! And as a bonus - a few more equally tasty, but slightly more difficult desserts to prepare.
The recipes are really very simple and delicious. Bananas, due to their starchy structure, give this ice cream the desired texture and creaminess.
Recipe number 1. Banana-strawberry ice cream
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas;
- 10 strawberries;
- honey at will.
Preparation
Wash the strawberries and remove the tails, peel the bananas. Cut into several pieces and send it all to the freezer for 2-3 hours. Grind frozen bananas and strawberries in a blender and add a little honey if the strawberries are not very sweet.
Ice cream can be served immediately or refrigerated for a few more hours. Garnish with fresh strawberries, chocolate chips or nuts when serving.
Recipe No. 2. Banana-strawberry ice cream with matcha powder
Ingredients:
- 1 cup strawberries
- 6 bananas;
- 3 teaspoons of matcha powder
- 3 teaspoons of ice water;
- coconut cream for decoration.
Preparation
Wash the strawberries and cut them into thin slices, put them in glasses or bowls. Peel the bananas, cut them into small pieces and put them in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
Grind the frozen bananas in a blender and add matcha powder there. Then grind again and in the process add 3 teaspoons of ice water in turn. As a result, you should have a homogeneous mass that separates well from the walls of the blender.
Then put the finished ice cream in prepared glasses or bowls with strawberries. Top, if desired, decorate with coconut cream.
Recipe number 3. Banana-strawberry ice cream with cashews
Ingredients:
- 1 banana;
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 tablespoon honey;
- a pinch of vanillin or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- 1-2 tablespoons of ice water.
Preparation
Wash the strawberries and cut the berries into several pieces if they are too large. Peel the bananas and cut into small pieces. Send it all to the freezer for a few hours.
While the berries and bananas are frozen, grind the cashews in a blender, adding water, honey and vanillin to it. The result should be a homogeneous nut butter.
Remove the pasta from the blender and rinse the bowl well. Take out the frozen bananas and strawberries, grind them in a clean bowl until smooth, and then add the cashew paste there. Grind all ingredients until smooth. Serve the finished ice cream.
