Today our menu includes chia seed smoothies, perfect for a quick breakfast! Tested by Lifehacker.;)
Recipe 1. Berry mix with pomegranate juice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen berries (blueberries or any other)
- ½ glass of pomegranate juice (preferably natural);
- ½ glass of water;
- ½ tablespoon of chia seeds.
Cooking. Put all the ingredients in a blender and whisk. On top, if desired, you can add a little cinnamon or chia seeds.
Recipe 2. Blueberry and banana
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup skim or plant-based milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 medium bananas.
Cooking. Slice bananas and send them literally 15 minutes in the freezer. Then put all the ingredients in a blender and whisk.
Recipe 3. Apple and berry mix
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups apple juice
- 1 cup fresh or frozen berries
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Cooking. Pre-soak the chia seeds in apple juice for 10 minutes, then add the berries and beat.
All ingredients can be adjusted to suit your taste preferences, so feel free to experiment.;)
