You probably don't forget to take out the trash or mop the floor regularly. But there are still a lot of small household chores that need to be done less often. And just they usually fly out of our heads or we put them off for later. To prevent this from happening, try the new packaging method: as soon as one or another product is brought home from the store, use it to put things in order. Gradually, it will become a habit and will be given to you without difficulty.

Coffee bean oils and small coffee particles accumulate more and more on the grinder blades. Such a plaque makes it difficult for her to work and affects the taste of the finished drink. At the same time, you cannot wash the coffee grinder in water, and wiping the blades one by one is inconvenient and unsafe.

If you have a manual grinder, plain sugar will help. Just put a heaped tablespoon of sugar inside and grind. Pour the resulting powder and wipe the blades with a damp cloth. Sugar will remove all adhering particles without leaving behind an extra taste and smell.

Unfortunately, this method is not suitable for electric grinders. The knives in them rotate very quickly and heat up in the process. This can cause the sugar particles to melt and damage the appliance.

Opened a bottle of mouthwash - freshen up the drain in the sink

An unpleasant smell in the drain can be caused by the same reason as bad breath: the particles of food remaining inside create a breeding ground for bacteria, and those in the process of life give off an odor. Mouthwash will remove them and add a pleasant fresh scent.

Just keep in mind that this tool will not carry out a serious cleaning and will not cope with the blockage. For such cases, it is worth using other means.

Greens and vegetables release moisture during storage. If you leave them in a plastic bag, all of it will collect inside and the vegetables will deteriorate faster. Better to cover the bottom of the drawer with paper towels and place vegetables on top of them. The towels will absorb moisture and extend the life of the food.

Moreover, they do not need to be changed very often. In order not to think about it again, make it a rule to do it when you open a new pack.

If you periodically water the flowers with soda water, they will grow better. The fact is that it contains minerals that are useful for plants. Just make sure that the composition is free of sugar and flavors.

Sparkling mineral water is also useful to save things from stains. For example, if you spill red wine or tomato sauce, quickly spray the area with mineral water. But the trick only works with fresh spots.

Opened a pack of starch - wash the windows

It is unlikely that you use starch a lot, but you don't need to wash windows too often. By tying this household chore with a fresh pack of starch, you will at least wash them once or twice a year. And starch is best suited for this, because it does not leave streaks.

Mix 60 ml each of alcohol and white vinegar, a tablespoon of starch and two glasses of warm water. Pour into a spray bottle and shake well. Apply the mixture to the windows and wipe with a rag as usual.

This is especially important for the kitchen tap, because you wash dishes and food with water from it, and perhaps you take water from it for drinking. If the tap is not cleaned regularly, limescale deposits will build up and may even develop mold. Vinegar will do a great job with these problems.

Take a plastic bag and fill it halfway with vinegar. Place the tap inside, fix the bag and let sit for 20-30 minutes. Then remove the bag and rinse the tap with water.

It sounds strange, but flour really brings back beauty to sinks, taps, refrigerators and other stainless steel items. Flour will polish small pits in the metal and clean out accumulated dirt from them, which cannot be reached with a rag.

The first step is to wash the item as usual and let it dry completely, otherwise the flour will simply turn into a gooey mass. Then sprinkle some flour onto a microfiber cloth or directly onto the surface if cleaning, for example, a sink, and start polishing. Repeat circular motions until the flour is gone and the surface is shiny.
