The latest MailBox update for OS X made it … Well, it would be better if it weren't. Since I was no longer used to using the web version of Gmail, I decided to try the Mia client. It is distinguished from others by its almost complete absence of an interface. The list of letters can be viewed directly in the menu bar and there you can reply to them.
The Mia icon, which looks like a Gmail icon, glows gray if there are no new emails and red if there are any. The number of incoming emails is shown next to the icon. Clicking on the icon opens a list of letters, as well as buttons for switching to the web version of Gmail and the interface for writing a letter.
If you decide to reply to an email or write a new one, Mia will not open the browser - you can do it right in the application. The interface leaves much to be desired, as it is too simple, but all the basic functions are there.
The application sends notifications of new letters and allows you to work with multiple accounts. True, this feature is purchased using in-app purchases.
Mia is a free app, but ads and account limits are disabled for 119 rubles. This concept of using mail takes some getting used to, but if you like simplicity, then it's worth it.
