For many, email is a vital work tool. Not all companies can afford to conduct business correspondence in messengers (although I am familiar with such examples). And for an ordinary user, mail applications serve as a source of information from various sites where a subscription to any news or promotions is subscribed. In general, you cannot do without a mailbox in the modern world. But no matter how many mail clients the developers do, there will always be those users who are not satisfied with at least something. Often, among the disaffected, proponents of productivity and minimalism stand in the forefront. Apparently, just for this category of people, the MailBar application was invented.

The main difference of the program is just the minimalism of the interface and the simplicity of processing incoming correspondence. After installation, MailBar displays its icon in the top menu bar and it is through it that all interaction with mail takes place.

With new incoming messages, the application will display their number, and by clicking on the icon, it will display a small window with sent letters. Without leaving this window, you can manage all the standard features: read, delete, move, reply to messages, mark with flags, and more. The main plus is that all the actions you perform with mailboxes take place in one small window, which does not require launching separate mail clients, which are often quite cumbersome.

If you have several mailboxes, you can easily switch between them, as well as separately assign colors to each of them to visually distinguish the mailboxes from each other.

MailBar supports all the basic features of mail clients, among which are mail search, hotkey support, work with attachments and calendars, digital signatures and group operations with letters - everything that a good mail client for OS X should have. However, MailBar itself by itself, it is not an email client. Hence the main disadvantage - the Mail application must also be running on the system.

Naturally, such a product is not free. But proponents of productive work and opponents of overloaded interfaces should appreciate. By the way, you can evaluate it for free within a 14-day trial period if you download MailBar from the developer's website for $ 9.95.
