Since winter is not a joke, we begin to look for more and more new ways to protect ourselves from the cold and strengthen our immunity. Especially recently, ginger has become popular due to its anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating properties.

This time we decided to combine ginger, apple, lemon, lime, cinnamon and honey!

Ingredients. So, for 4 large cups, you need 1 liter of water, ginger (a slice about 3 cm long and 2 cm wide) 3 circles of lemon, 2 circles of lime, 1/4 of a medium apple, 1 stick of cinnamon and honey to taste.

Cooking. Cut the lemon and lime slices into 4 parts, peel the ginger root and simply cut into thin slices, peel the apple and cut into small pieces. Put all the chopped ingredients in a large teapot or decanter, add a whole cinnamon stick and cover with hot water. Honey can be added either directly to the decanter, or everyone can add it to their cup.

If you like the combination of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, you can grind the spiced ginger pieces in a mortar and add everything to the drink. Only you will need to pour through a strainer so that the pieces of cardamom do not fall into the cup.
