The service has finally received a fresh design and new useful features.
After several years of waiting, the California-based company translated Google Calendar into a modern material design. The developers have changed the color scheme of the service, as well as implemented support for responsive design, so that the interface elements adjust to the size of the browser window.
New features have been added to Google Calendar to make the product easier to use. Invitations now lend themselves freely to formatting and can include links to relevant tables, documents, and presentations. In one place, you have access to all the information you need for a productive meeting.
A mode has appeared in which individual days from the calendar can be viewed in different columns, without having to scroll through them. Google says this feature will come in handy for those who work with multiple calendars and schedule meetings for different teams.
You can now get more information about meeting attendees by simply hovering over the invitation. It has become easier to share the calendar with the group. In addition, it became possible to restore accidentally deleted meeting elements.
To switch to a new design, follow the link below and click on the blue button "Try the new version". When you enter "Google Calendar" in the usual way, its old version opens, while the coveted button is missing. Most likely, this defect will be corrected in the near future.
