Search and custom listings help you sort out a bunch of open sites.
The downside to Chrome is that it's not very easy to manipulate with a lot of tabs. If you want to sort them by windows, you have to do this by dragging and dropping the elements manually. And if the tab bar is full, it becomes a pain to understand them at all: the names simply do not fit.
The extension is designed to help Chrome users work with multiple sites at the same time. It will definitely come in handy for fans of multitasking.
Click its icon and click on the Windows Manager item in the menu that opens. Or press Ctrl + M on Windows or Cmd + M on Mac. You will be presented with a complete list of tabs in all Chrome windows that you have. You can navigate among them using the search bar at the top.
Cluster tab names are easy to read due to their vertical arrangement in the list. And you can customize their order by simply dragging and dropping.
If you need to open a set of tabs in a separate window to unload the main one, just select them, click the Move tabs button on the top bar. This is much more convenient than manual transfer.
The same applies to the bulk closing of certain tabs - we mark them in any order and click on the trash can icon.
Another Cluster function is to combine tabs in one window. If you suddenly notice that you have a bunch of separate Chrome windows open, and there are few sites in them, click the Merge windows button in the Cluster, select the desired items, and they will close. And all the tabs from them will be combined in a separate window.
For those who work at night, there is also a dark mode. And placing tabs in two columns will make more efficient use of screen space.
If necessary, sets of tabs in the Cluster can be saved. To do this, click the button with the bookmark image next to the window name in the list and give the set a name. Next time it can be opened with one click from the list of saved windows in the Cluster sidebar.
This is much more convenient than bookmarking frequently used sites and opening them manually by clicking one at a time. And much more economical in terms of memory.
By the way, about memory. Cluster has the ability to suspend unused tabs - something similar is done by The Great Suspender extension. When you press a special button, sites are unloaded from memory, and Chrome begins to consume noticeably less RAM.
Last but not least, Cluster can sync open windows, tabs, and settings across multiple Chrome devices. True, this is the only premium feature of the application. However, you can still transfer your tabs by exporting to a JSON file.
