Scannable is a new iOS app from the Evernote team that allows you to almost magically quickly convert paper documents to electronic ones. And that's exactly what it can do.

The main thing in the application is not that it scans documents - checks, contracts, invoices and business cards (which are immediately recognized) - but how it happens. The application finds the paper itself and instantly takes pictures. It takes a split second to scan a business card, and a 24-page contract takes 20 seconds!

Here's how scanning a sales receipt from a store looks step by step:

Remember Evernote's Hello app - you don't need it anymore. Feel free to demolish if used.

I tested the app on the iPhone 6 Plus, and it worked like a calculator: not a slightest hitch, instant feedback, and complete predictability of what can be done with the new interface. The latter, by the way, is really new and unlike anything I've seen before.

Scannable is available for iOS only.
