Google launches new Gmail interface

The web version of the service will be transformed externally and will become much more convenient. Many familiar functions are now always at hand.

First of all, the changes are aimed at increasing user productivity. So, it became much easier to apply various actions to letters. It will be enough just to move the cursor over the incoming message and select one of the necessary operations. With one click, you can delete, archive, mark as read, or postpone with a reminder to return to it later.

You can go to email attachments directly from the list of all inboxes. That is, to access the attached picture or document from the letter, you no longer have to open all the correspondence and rewind to the desired letter.

Also, on the right under the icon of your account, a special panel will now be displayed for quick access to frequently used services. It could be Calendar, Notes, Tasks, or something else.

Gmail will also "nudge" you to view emails by reminding you when a message was received. A special note about the statute of limitations will be displayed on the right side of the letter description.

For some short messages, simple automatic replies may be offered. It can be consent to something or, conversely, a refusal.

On mobile devices, the list of letters will display the highest priority incoming messages first. This will allow you to immediately move on to solving important matters, bypassing the mass of secondary mail. You can unsubscribe from automatic mailings without even opening the message.

Potentially unsafe email will be flagged with a special notification that you simply cannot miss.

Finally, a new confidential sending mode will become available to users, allowing you to prohibit the option of forwarding, copying, downloading or printing an outgoing letter. This will be useful when sending letters containing confidential commercial information or important personal data. If necessary, it will be possible to set a validity period for such items.

The updated Gmail will be available to users in the coming days. You can activate the fresh interface through the settings button, where you will need to select "Try new Gmail". Similarly, it will be possible to return to the classic type of service.
