If you won't surprise anyone with an ordinary pizza at a party for a long time, then not everyone is familiar with this option for serving this dish. We propose to turn an ordinary pizza into a hot appetizer - a tomato dip with cheese and a rim of dough pieces that can be conveniently dipped into a sauce. You can bake such a dish for a large company or serve it in individual tins.

We start cooking with a simple pizza dough, for which it is enough to mix flour with warm water, a pinch of salt and yeast. Knead the dough until elastic, then brush with butter and leave warm. Since we don’t want the dough to rise too much when baking, it can only sit for 10 minutes.

During this time, you will have time to cook a simple dip by frying chopped mushrooms with onions and garlic, and then pouring them with tomato sauce. This is just one of the combinations you can choose from. You can supplement the mixture with slices of ham or chicken, herbs and vegetables.

Roll out the matching dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm, and then cut into strips 1, 5 cm wide. Roll each strip into a snail.

Spread the rolls of dough around the edges of the greased pan, pour the sauce into the center and cover it with a layer of cheese. For a slightly more pronounced golden color, the dough can be brushed with a beaten egg.
