1. Friends

  • USA, 1994.
  • Sitcom.
  • Duration: 10 seasons.
  • IMDb: 8, 9.

Legendary sitcom about the everyday life of six friends. Each of them has its own character, shortcomings and concerns. However, they have been together for many years and always help each other in difficult situations.

The role of Rachel in Friends was a real breakthrough for Jennifer Aniston: before that she starred in second-rate films and appeared only in certain episodes of the series. And shortly before being invited to the project, I even thought about ending my career. However, thanks to this series, Aniston soon became one of the highest paid actresses.

2. Office space

  • USA, 1999.
  • Comedy.
  • Duration: 89 minutes.
  • IMDb: 7, 8.

After an unfinished hypnosis session, the office clerk Peter Gibbons lost all interest in his work. But oddly enough, it helps him move up the career ladder. And then Peter decides to steal some of the company's money, but things don't go according to plan.

This film was directed by Mike Judge, author of King of the Hill and Silicon Valley, and of course the picture came out very witty. For the role of the protagonist's girlfriend - the waitress Joanna - he invited Jennifer Aniston, who was then shining in "Friends".

She was no stranger to the image of a simple girl: in the series, her heroine also worked as a waitress. So the actress looked quite natural in this role.

3. Good girl

  • USA, 2002.
  • Drama, melodrama, comedy.
  • Duration: 93 minutes.
  • IMDb: 6, 4.

By 30, the beautiful Justin had already managed to become disillusioned both in life and in marriage: she works in a supermarket, and her husband just lies on the couch most of his free time. But one day she meets a young colleague who calls himself Holden (by analogy with the hero of "The Catcher in the Rye"). And soon their whirlwind romance develops into a dangerous conspiracy.

Aniston is best known for her comedic roles. But Good Girl has enough room for a real drama about family life. It is all the more interesting that here she has to choose between John C. Riley and Jake Gyllenhaal.

4. Rely on your friends

  • USA, 2006.
  • Comedy, drama, melodrama.
  • Duration: 88 minutes.
  • IMDb: 5, 8.

Olivia has entered a difficult period in her life: she is sorely lacking money. Realizing that she herself will not be able to cope, the heroine turns to old friends for help. But it turns out that they got married long ago, had children and they had nothing in common with Olivia. And then it turns out that she can still teach her friends something new and remind that life is not just a routine.

This film cannot be called very dynamic: most of the action is built simply on the conversations of the characters. And Aniston really manages to open up here: her heroine is embarrassed, argues and angry. A great chance to appreciate her acting skills.

5. Horrible bosses

  • USA, 2011.
  • Comedy.
  • Duration: 98 minutes.
  • IMDb: 6, 9.

Nick, Kurt and Dale hate their bosses - they make their life just unbearable. Then the friends decide to help each other and come up with the perfect plan to eliminate the bosses. But it is only ideal in the heads of the heroes.

Jennifer Aniston's character in this film is the complete opposite of all her sweet roles. She plays the sex-obsessed boss of one of the characters. Her character constantly speaks vulgarity and behaves obscenely. And three years later, Jennifer returned in the second part of "Horrible Bosses" in exactly the same image.

And it’s all the more fun to watch moments from the set of the film, where she is embarrassed by her own obscenities - these scenes are added in the credits.
