Roskomnadzor continues its crusade against Telegram. For example, on May 17, the department blocked 329 IP addresses of the WhatsApp messenger.

PlayStation Network users also got it. Due to network failures due to the fault of the RKN, many players are unable to launch multiplayer games and are simply throwing money down the drain for subscriptions.

There are several ways to bypass blocking, but sooner or later they all stop working. A user of the Stratege website offered his own solution to the problem. He created DNS that redirects traffic from blocked IP addresses to work ones.

To try this method yourself:

  • Open PlayStation 4 Settings → Network → Establish Internet Connection.
  • Choose to connect via cable or Wi-Fi.
  • Specify the connection method "Special" → IP-address - "Automatic". You do not need to fill in the DHCP field.
  • Enter DNS manually.
  • Enter 109.195.115.56 in the "Primary address" field, and leave the "Additional" field blank.
  • Select MTU - "Automatic" → "Proxy" - "Do not use".

The author warns that ping can grow and asks not to use DNS on PCs or other devices.

Not all features work. For example, many people fail to create a party. However, you can play, which is good.

Let's hope that the RKN will come to its senses and return everything to its place in the near future.
