Austria, Germany, Norway and the Czech Republic offer a variety of educational programs - usually completely free of charge.
One of the most common stereotypes about studying abroad is that it is insanely expensive. Few people know that some European countries provide educational programs with zero or minimum tuition fees.
Austria
Most public universities in Austria offer free education to international students (which we are for them). Non-EU students will only have to pay a minimum administration fee of € 300 per semester. This policy applies to all programs and levels of study. The average cost of living in Austria is around 800 euros per month.
However, it should be understood that most undergraduate programs are taught in German and that admission to the first year will require training in a preparatory college.
This is due to the fact that the school system in Austria consists of 12 years instead of our 11, so applicants need to "get" an additional year.
In the case of graduate programs, options with training in English are already more common.

Germany
Many public universities in Germany provide free tuition for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including for international students. Conditions may vary depending on the region. Education in a master's program may already be paid, but the cost will still be several times lower than in other countries.
Average living costs in Germany are 500-800 euros per month. In some cases, they may be covered by additional scholarships.
The situation with admission to an undergraduate program in Germany is similar to the conditions in Austria: most of the programs are taught in German, for admission you need to "finish" the 12th year in the preparatory courses.

Czech
Studying at public universities in the Czech Republic is free for students from all countries. Exceptions are private universities and individual programs and specialties.
An important point - free education refers to programs in the Czech language (similar areas taught in English will cost more).
But don't be upset! There are special annual programs for the study of the Czech language, after which students pass the state exam and enter the university.
Separately, it is worth mentioning the “Step into the Future” grant program, which covers the cost of one-year Czech language courses.

Norway
All universities in Norway do not charge tuition fees for any programs and areas. In some cases, an additional fee is charged for certain areas of master's programs. However, unlike other European countries, the cost of training for foreign students will not be higher than for European ones.
An important point - the cost of living in Norway is much higher than in other countries of Europe and the world.
This must be taken into account when planning your budget. However, do not forget about the possibility of obtaining a scholarship for living.
