This time, the company decided to expand the range and introduced its own sneakers. The life hacker tested their comfort and quality to share their impressions with you.

Appearance and materials

Amazfit Antelope sneakers are available in women and men versions. The men's model includes gray, orange and black colors, while the women's model can be black, red and light green.

An orange model came to our editorial office. They look great: a bright, cheerful color immediately cheers up and encourages action.

The upper is made of durable stretch mesh material. It is breathable, so the foot does not sweat even during intense workouts. Sneakers are designed for use in the warm season.

The armhole of the sneaker contains soft inserts that fit the ankle tightly. Together with the traditional lacing system, this provides a good fit for the leg, which will help reduce the risk of injuries and sprains. The back of the sneaker is reinforced with special elastic plastic inserts.

The sole is quite thick and white. At the front, it goes up slightly to protect the toe from impacts, and at the back it has a slight rounding for a comfortable contact with the ground.

The sole has a special recess for a sensor that counts steps, distance, calories burned and other parameters. All information from it is transferred to the Mi Fit app. However, the sensor is not included in the basic package - it will have to be purchased separately.

The construction of the shoe uses all the achievements of modern technologies. The underside of the shoe is made up of five layers, each with a different purpose. The outer ribbed coating provides good traction and durability on all surfaces.

Then there are several layers of polyurethane foam of various brands, which cushion the impact of the foot on the ground.

To demonstrate their properties, the company even conducted a spectacular experiment with dropping an egg from a multi-storey building.

The uppermost layer is a breathable anatomical insole that is easy to remove and can be washed separately from the sneaker.

Thanks to the use of modern materials, one shoe weighs only 318 g. For a shoe with reinforced protection for off-road training, this is a good indicator.

Testing

Amazfit Antelope Sneakers fit like a glove. The elastic upper provides a soft fit, while the springy sole makes the step lightweight and bouncy. It is a pleasure to walk and run in such shoes.

The lacing fixes the leg well, and the curved toe and the tight heel protect it from hitting obstacles. Lightweight mesh upper provides excellent ventilation. In these sneakers, your feet practically do not sweat, but you should not use them in the rain.

We've tried the shoe on a variety of surfaces, including the ups and downs. The studded outsole maintains traction even on loose ground, wet asphalt and grass. In appearance and comfort, they are hardly inferior to eminent sports brands. The patronage of the companies Xiaomi and Goodyear gives hope for the good quality of the materials and the long service life of the product, although the final conclusion can only be drawn after a while. But now we can say that the price of Amazfit Antelope is quite competitive.
