Resident evil 2

Release date: January 25th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Remake of the legendary survival horror. Compared to the original, the first thing that will change is the visual part of the game. Characters, environments and objects will look very different. But the plot and basic gameplay mechanics will remain about the same. You will need to travel around Raccoon City, save people, kill zombies and explore locations in search of useful items.

Kingdom Hearts III

Release date: January 29 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

A new part of the series, in which characters from the universe of the franchise travel across different Disney worlds and fight evil along with cartoon characters. Players will be able to visit the worlds of "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Hercules", "Rapunzel", "Frozen", "Monsters Inc.", "Toy Stories" and others.

Crackdown 3

Release date: February 15th on PC and Xbox One.

The long-awaited sequel to Microsoft's open-world action game. The main feature of Crackdown has always been the total destruction of everything that is possible with the help of the protagonist's superhuman abilities. The third part continues this tradition. The developers have even created a special technology that calculates all destruction in the cloud in real time.

Far cry: new dawn

Release date: February 15th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

A new part of Far Cry, which takes place 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. Montana is post-apocalyptic: cities are covered with vegetation, people live in small settlements. The whole district is kept in fear by the main villains - the twins. The player will have to confront their gang using both classic firearms and handicraft weapons like a cannon that fires circular saws.

Anthem

Release date: February 22nd on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

A new service game from the creators of Mass Effect and Dragon Age. In Anthem, players will explore an unusual world inhabited by creepy monsters and fight opponents in cool flying suits (much like Iron Man's). The structure of the game will be similar to Destiny: it is supposed to be able to join forces and travel to different locations, completing missions and raids. At the same time, only a few dozen people can be present on the server at the same time.

Metro: Exodus

Release date: February 22nd on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Continuation of the series of games in the "Metro" universe by Dmitry Glukhovsky. It differs from the previous parts of Exodus primarily in that it will have a half-open world. The player will arrive at a huge location, explore it, complete the main and secondary quests, and then go to the next zone. Contrary to the name, the game will take place mostly outdoors, which is now safe to breathe.

Devil may cry 5

Release date: March 8th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

After a long hiatus, the Devil May Cry franchise is returning to its roots. Dante and Nero are again among the main characters, and the plot of the game is connected with the previous numbered parts of the series. Demons attacked the Earth, which means that it is time for the well-known hunters of evil spirits to get down to work again. Among the innovations, it is worth noting replaceable hand prostheses for Nero, each of which gives unique abilities or enhancements, and the protagonist named V.

The division 2

Release date: March 15th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The sequel to Ubisoft's multiplayer action game in which you and your friends take on missions in an abandoned city. The action will move from New York to Washington, with new operator classes, weapons and gadgets. The developers say that they have taken into account the experience of the first part: this time, special emphasis is placed on end-game content.

The sinking city

Release date: March 21 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

A game inspired by the work of Lovecraft. The detective arrives in a mysterious city and tries to find out why its inhabitants are behaving so strangely. Ancient gods and indescribable horror are included.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Release date: March 22nd on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

New game from the creators of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The main role is a samurai who fights against people, demons and creatures from Japanese folklore. Externally, the action is very similar to Dark Souls, but there are differences. For example, here the hero uses devices like a grappling hook and can move stealthily.

Mortal kombat 11

Release date: April 23rd for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Another game in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. Almost nothing is known about her yet, but you can expect all the main characters of the previous part, microtransactions and a lot of cruelty.

Days gone

Release date: April 26 on PlayStation 4.

A Sony exclusive about a biker surviving a zombie apocalypse. The hero will travel to picturesque places, fight the walking dead and look for ingredients for crafting. In addition to zombies, there will be still living bandits among the opponents. Almost any task can be completed in different ways: hiding or in the open, using firearms, explosives or a crossbow.

Rage 2

Release date: May 14th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The first Rage was coldly received by the gaming community. The hardware that was relevant at that time could hardly cope with the game engine, the gameplay was monotonous, and the color scheme frightened many: in those days there was an overabundance of brown shooters. Therefore, Rage 2 has little in common with the first part. This is a fast-paced and colorful action game where the emphasis is primarily on fun. This means that there will be many beautiful murders, explosions and body parts scattering in all directions.

Shenmue iii

Release date: August 27th for PC and PlayStation 4.

The third part of the famous action series. The first Shenmue was released on the Sega Dreamcast in 1999 - two years before GTA III - and was one of the first fully 3D open-world games. Gamers were then struck by the high interactivity of the environment. You could buy soda from the vending machine or have a heart-to-heart conversation with almost everyone you met. In the third part, these features will be preserved, and, possibly, skill branches and a reputation system will appear: the attitude of the characters towards the main character will depend on his actions.

Biomutant

Release date: in 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

An action game in which bipedal animals fight in a post-apocalyptic world using martial arts, melee weapons and firearms. It looks very nice, and the storyteller constantly comments on the gameplay, which creates the feeling of a fairy tale. As you progress, it will be possible to change the genetic code of the character, discovering new skills and adjusting its characteristics.

A game from the creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake. The main character is the director of some secret agency in New York, which is trying to eliminate the mysterious force that has seized the building. This is not an easy task: because of dark energy, architecture is constantly changing, the laws of physics are violated, and people go crazy. Fortunately, especially for such cases, the heroine has supernatural powers.

Doom eternal

Release date: in 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Continuation of the 2016 Doom relaunch. The first part was received warmly. Players loved the insane gameplay dynamics and ingenuity of the protagonist in destroying demons. In the sequel, all of this has become even more. New enemies appeared, weapons like a flamethrower, a grappling hook for pulling yourself to surfaces and enemies, and the action moved to Earth, captured by demons.

Gears 5

Release date: in 2019 on PC and Xbox One.

The new part of the popular Gears of War series tells the story of Keith, one of the characters in the fourth part. Players will experience a co-op (for one device or online), updated graphics and a battle for the fate of the world. Everything is as usual.

Luigi's Mansion 3

The sequel to one of the fan-favorite series of Nintendo. In Luigi's Mansion, Luigi finds himself in a mansion full of ghosts and fights with them using a special device that looks like a vacuum cleaner. Not much is known about the third part yet, but knowing Nintendo, you can expect a lot of inventive gameplay mechanics based on pulling objects and enemies.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Release date: in 2019 on PC and Xbox One.

The sequel to the popular indie platformer Ori and the Blind Forest. The first part was remembered for the stunning two-dimensional graphics and gameplay, which was based on the unusual skills of the protagonist to move around locations - sharp jumps and jumps. In the second part, players will visit a dying forest and meet a new character, the owlet.

The outer worlds
