How to draw space with gouache

What is needed

• Thick paper;
• large brush;
• gouache;
• bristle brush;
• thin brush;
• a jar of water.

How to draw

Take a large brush and paint over the top left corner of the sheet with red paint. Add a purple hue below and blue underneath. For smooth transitions, mix colors right on paper.

Paint over the middle of the sheet diagonally with red gouache. Put a layer of blue paint below, and then use white to make a smooth transition to blue.

Let the background dry a little.

Lightly dilute the white paint with water. Scoop it up with a brush and shake it over the paper so that it splashes. With this technique, you will show small stars.

In the lower right corner, make a black arc and paint over the space below it. This is part of the planet.

Place the lid of the gouache jar in the middle of the sheet and circle. You will get a circle that you need to shade from the inside.

Take some white paint on a dry bristled brush and paint spots on the planets.

With a thin brush, mark a white strip on the rounded outline of the large planet.

In the background, draw several small black planetary circles and add a light shade to them.

On the large planet in the corner, make blue strokes, on the small ones - purple and pink. Draw a white ring around the planet in the center of the composition.

How to paint space in watercolor

What is needed

• Watercolor paper;
• watercolor;
• a jar of water;
• large brush;
• thin brush;
• white gouache;
• coarse salt.

How to draw

Dampen watercolor paper with water. Use a large brush to paint lots of purple and dark blue strokes. Leave the center and bottom of the background blank.

Add pink and yellow streaks at the bottom of the sheet, turquoise in the center. Place black drops around the edges.

Add salt to the part of the drawing where you want to make the Milky Way. It will absorb the paint along with the water and create tiny white specks.

Let the drawing dry.

Use your fingers to remove the dried salt from the leaf. Dilute white gouache with water, take it on a brush and shake the tool over the paper. You will get spray stars.

Draw mountains of different sizes along the bottom edge in black watercolor. Try not to make them too high. The main part of the composition is space.

Use a thin brush to paint the trees. To do this, draw several vertical lines of different lengths and add oblique strokes to each workpiece on both sides. You don't need to make the details even, otherwise the trees will look unrealistic.

How to draw space with pastels

What is needed

• Paper;
• oil pastels;
• masking tape;
• white gouache;
• brush;
• napkin;
• screwdriver;
• corrector pen.

How to draw

Secure the sheet of paper to the table with masking tape. Draw a tilted yellow oval in the center. Inside it is empty.

Behind the outer contour of the shape, make another one, only orange.

Add purple, dark purple, turquoise, blue and black layers in the same way.

Roll the napkin several times and blend the pastels with it.

Make red strokes on the yellow and orange areas, black on the blue and purple ones.

Scoop up some white gouache with a brush and shake it over the composition to create a splatter. So you will "light up" many small stars in space.

Use a screwdriver to scratch an oblique oval and several circles in the drawing. Inside each shape, use the corrector pen to make another small one.

Remove the masking tape.

How to draw

Draw a circle with a compass. Its size depends on how large you want the drawing to be.

Mark the main color spots inside the outline. At the edges of the figure, they are black, purple, blue and turquoise, in the center - pink and yellow. Try not to put pressure on the pencil, make light movements.

Add new spots to the drawing. On each, apply shading several times, so you will achieve a bright shade. Use a white pencil to soften the transitions between colors.

When you fill in the circle completely, you have a space background.

Draw stars and dots of different sizes on it with a white pen. If you want to mark the constellations, connect several elements with straight lines.
