How to draw an avocado with colored markers or felt-tip pens
What is needed
- Paper;
- felt-tip pens or colored markers.
How to draw
Use a black felt-tip pen to outline an elongated pear-shaped shape to indicate the avocado. Draw a round bone inside.
Show a slanted rectangular stalk above the fruit. Add a small leaf. Above the top of the fruit and to the right of it, repeat the outline of the shape.
Shade the inside of the fruit with a yellow felt-tip pen. For the space next to the outlines, a light green color is suitable.
Make the bone brown. To make the element look three-dimensional, add a second layer of tint at the edges of the circle. Paint over the side of the avocado with a dark green felt-tip pen.
Shade the handle with a dark brown felt-tip pen. Make the leaf emerald.

How to draw an avocado with paints
What is needed
- Black paper;
- thin brush;
- gouache;
- palette;
- wide brush;
- a jar of water.
How to draw
Using a thin brush and yellow paint, sketch out a pear-shaped shape. On the palette, mix the shade with blue to create a rich green. Use a wide brush to trace the outline of the fruit.
Without rinsing the brush, scoop up the yellow paint. Make large strokes around the edges of the fruit. Rinse the instrument. Mix the color with white and cover the fruit with the resulting shade. Leave empty space for the bone.
With a thin brush, draw a black outline of a rounded bone with an elongated tip. The inside is brown. You can add yellow and red strokes to it. Outline the shape with white paint, outline the highlights.
Step back a few millimeters from the avocado. Draw a white curved line on the right and a yellow one on the left. This will make the drawing stand out on black paper. If desired, you can add dark blue and yellow strokes to the background.

How to draw an avocado with pastels
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- oil pastels.
How to draw
Using a simple pencil, sketch out a tilted pear-shaped shape. Add an arc at the bottom to show the volume of the fruit. Draw the other half of the fruit behind. It resembles an oval.
Draw a small circle inside the halves. In the first case, it is a bone, in the second, a notch. Trace the contours of the avocado with pastels. An olive green shade is ideal.
Shade the pulp with pale yellow crayons. Use a heavier shade for the space next to the bone. Add a bright green color near the rind.
Paint over the pit using different shades of brown. Optionally, even black and white strokes can be placed on the element. Outline the indentation with green pastels. From the inside, cover the circle with yellow, orange and brown colors.
Make the peel marsh green. Outline its borders with brown chalk. Cover the background with pink. Show the shadow from the slices with gray pastels.

How to draw an avocado with colored pencils
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser;
- colour pencils.
How to draw
Draw a horizontal line with a simple pencil. Mark two circles on it: large and medium. Connect these elements with curved lines to create a pear-shaped avocado.
Since the fruit will be shown in section, you need to outline the peel. To do this, inside the workpiece, repeat its lower contour. Erase the auxiliary shapes with the eraser.
The other half of the avocado is not completely visible. Draw the element with an oblique arc. Use a curved line to mark the border of the peel.
In the detail in the foreground, sketch out a rounded bone. Please note: it is slightly elongated at the top and bottom. In the second slice, draw an arc-notch.
Trace the outline of the peel with a dark green pencil. For the flesh at the edges of the fruit, use a light green shade. Close to the bone, shade the space with pale yellow.
Cover the recess in yellow-green. Make the bone brown. Optionally, you can add orange to the element.
Paint over the rind using a rich green shade. To show the bumpy texture of the fruit, sketch in black strokes. A barely noticeable shadow can be marked under the fruit.
