The apparent simplicity of verbal constructions will hide care for the interlocutor and a higher level of communication culture.

Less formalism

The trend towards simplification of speech during correspondence will continue. It has already become obvious that monstrous constructions do not facilitate understanding. At the same time, simplification does not mean degradation. Rather, the opposite is true: if you remove bureaucratic phrases from the text, which do not carry any meaning, it will become of better quality.

Formalism in netiquette slowed down five years ago, no more. “Hello, let me introduce you to my portfolio. If you are interested, you can contact me … "changed to" Hello everyone! I'm Max, here's my portfolio. Look if you are interested - my contacts are here."

The style of “write as you say, just a little more cultured” and “speak like a friend, but as if your mother hears you” was instantly borrowed by brands for which communication on social networks is one of the main metrics of success in marketing. Companies have quickly adopted this communication style across all digital presence channels to get closer to consumers and customers.

Corporate correspondence has also become more simplified. The once topical "Dear Ivan Petrovich" was replaced by "Ivan Petrovich, good afternoon", and "Thank you for the promptly provided information" - to "Thank you for sending the information so quickly."

And if we observe changes in the language culture of Russian-speaking users, we can assume that the standards of business correspondence in the future will find a balance between dry formalism with long preludes and informal street style.

More care for the interlocutor

Communication always has a purpose. And the easiest way to get what you want from a person is to think a little more about their convenience.

Written etiquette in the classical sense fades into the background. Today, both the one who writes and the one who reads the letters does not have enough time to eat into the text. Therefore, it becomes important to highlight the meanings in the correspondence.

For the business community in the near future, the key rule of caring for the reader will become the main rule. It includes the mandatory reading of the letter before sending it to the addressee. That is, it is necessary to check whether all the meanings will be understood correctly, whether the accents are correctly placed, whether everything is easy to read. And only after that it will be possible to send the letter.

Less aggression

We correspond not only for work reasons. Thanks to messengers, chats got a second life, many are actively communicating in social networks. Despite the fact that people are still ready to fiercely defend their opinions, the general culture of speech is on the rise.

In recent years, network communication has changed dramatically. Less and less words from "Padonkaff" or "Albany Yezig", less negativity and aggression in the comments. I associate this with the fact that representatives of the generations that have faced the tough 90s are growing up, becoming more conscious and softer. And young Internet users are people whose childhood was spent in a rather favorable and comfortable atmosphere, and they are not inclined to introduce elements of aggression into Internet communication.

In addition, network communications are increasingly associated with business and business communication, which is probably also having a beneficial effect, as well as the fact that anonymity on the Internet is a very ephemeral concept. Therefore, people try to correct their statements on the Internet in the same way as their behavior in real life. Hopefully these trends will continue in a few years, and trolling and hating stories will become online legends.

The trend towards humanizing society will continue. But aggression - our natural reaction to an irritant - is unlikely to be neutralized by those for whom lookism is evil, and new sincerity is a correct attitude towards the world.

The moment of unity is also important, when, having gathered together, people can feel the power of the word. One of the cases on this topic is the Golunov case. Counterbalances work successfully on the Internet: for those for whom cynicism and arrogance are a model of behavior and a form of protection, there will always be someone who will strike with a weighty argument and a kind word.

More live communication

At one time, e-mail was a breakthrough in comparison with the already existing methods of communication. Now it is long and inconvenient to exchange even such letters, and this channel fades into the background.

Email will no longer be a means of communication. It will be relevant only in certain cases: at some stages of the sales process, when interacting with government agencies, corporate correspondence.

In other spheres, communications will come to the exchange of replicas, as in a conversation, and will remain in this form. At the same time, the variety of communication channels will also remain: it is more convenient for someone to write, for someone to speak, for someone to exchange voice or video messages, leaving time for themselves to better formulate their thoughts.

At the same time, I want to note that bots, in my opinion, will never become full-fledged participants in communication and will finally form into a sales and service channel.
