Life hacker turned 10 years old. For ten years we have been making and continue to make the world a better place. On the anniversary, we open the veil of secrecy and give everyone the opportunity to feel like a part of our team. Everyone participates!
By the standards of modern media, 10 years is not just a date, it is D-A-T-I-Sch-E.
Few people know, but more than 40 people work on Lifehacker every day. Their work is not always visible, but every part of the team is very important and plays a decisive role in the development of the publication.
The first post on Lifehacker was released on February 11, 2007, and just three days later, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took office as President of Turkmenistan.
Nostalgic for those wonderful times, when we still wrote about how to cut a cake with thread or take the elevator without stopping, we decided to give readers the opportunity to feel like a part of the editorial staff in our shoes. We dedicate this anniversary project to people who have been making Lifehacker for many years, as well as to our dear readers.
Here are eight games. Each of them tells and shows what we do every day.
All games are based on real events:
- The reader tests his knowledge and finds out how his favorite site lives.
- The publisher makes tough decisions and leads the project to success.
- The author writes articles and is proud of himself.
- The editor looks for errors and creates gorgeous text.
- The piccher selects covers and looks for deeper meanings.
- The designer creates and tries to guess the wishes of the customer.
- The SMM guru performs unexpected tasks and is catching up with traffic.
- The developer hacks the system and does his hard job.
You can and should try everything. And yes, what a game without an Easter egg.;)
Life is imperfect. Try to make it better with us today.
