How to clean a hairbrush

You will need a cleaning solution. It's easy to prepare: pour a glass of warm water into a wide plate, add 1 tablespoon of liquid soap, shampoo or dishwashing detergent, mix thoroughly.

If you are going to use a shampoo, use a deep cleansing shampoo: it will deal better with hair flakes accumulated on the teeth of the brush.

To make the solution not only soap, but also have an antibacterial effect, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar or ammonia to it.

• A container with prepared detergent solution. It should be hot - 40-50 ° C.
• Rubber gloves if using dishwashing detergent or ammonia solution.

What to do

What to do

Products made of wood and metal must not be soaked in water. They are cleaned in a more delicate way. Soak the disc in a detergent or alcohol solution, squeeze lightly, and manually sweep over each prong to remove dust, grease and dirt.

Remove any remaining detergent from the comb with a fresh sponge soaked in clean water. Then blot with a napkin.

Cut them with scissors.

Turn the brush 180 degrees and repeat the process on the other side. The hair can then be easily removed by hand.

Dip the prepared comb into a container with a cleaning solution. To remove dirt more effectively, you can leave it on for 10-15 minutes. But this advice is not suitable for products made of wood, metal and natural bristles: they should not be left in water for a long time. Then clean the accessory thoroughly with a toothbrush.

Rinse the comb under running water, pat it dry with a napkin and place in a well-ventilated place until it dries completely.
