I love to cook, but I don't like to spend more than half an hour a day on it. Therefore, most often I choose original, but quick recipes. And today I want to share with you Jamie Oliver's idea of how you can diversify your menu in a matter of minutes using a seemingly ordinary chicken breast.
It turned out very tasty!
In order to prepare this dish, you will need 10 minutes of time, including preparation. So, let's begin.
Ingredients: 1 skinless chicken breast, 10-15 grams of grated Parmesan, 3 slices of prosciutto, 1 sprig of thyme or rosemary, lemon zest, freshly ground black pepper, olive oil.
Preparation: there are few rules in the preparation of this dish, but one of the main ones is that the chicken breast should be the same thickness on all sides. This can be easily achieved by beating the meat a little with a heavy object such as a rolling pin. To do this, wrap the chicken breast in plastic wrap and gently beat it along its entire length, especially on the side where the meat is thicker. As a result, you will get a uniform piece.
Then sprinkle the meat with thyme or rosemary.
On it - grated parmesan, and on top - freshly ground pepper and a few grams of lemon zest.
Cover the meat with thin strips of prosciutto to completely coat the Parmesan. For convenience, you can buy already cut thin slices of prosciutto, but I used the ham that I brought with me from Montenegro, so my pieces turned out to be a little thicker.
Pour some olive oil for frying into a preheated skillet and quickly place the meat with the prosciutto side down on it.
Grill the meat for 3 minutes over medium heat, then use a wide spatula to turn it over to the other side and cook for another 3 minutes.
Just 6 minutes in a skillet and chicken breast with parmesan and prosciutto is ready. Remove the meat from heat, transfer to a plate, cut in half (chicken should be completely cooked) and serve with green salad.
