War War never changes. But you already know about it, asylum survivor. By the way, about the shelter: we are running out of supplies again, the ceiling has leaked, two people did not return from the last raid into the wasteland, and the last attack of the raiders battered us all very much. You urgently need to do something about all this!

Fallout is a series of role-playing games set in a post-apocalyptic world with a very rich history. A lot of time has passed since the release of the last Fallout, so the announcement of the fourth part that took place the other day was not a big surprise. However, the release of the game itself still has about six months to wait, so the developers decided to sweeten the lives of the fans of the series and, as a small compensation, created a mobile game in the universe - Fallout Shelter.

Of course, we are not talking about a full-fledged role-playing game. Fallout Shelter is a kind of simulator of your own shelter in a world that has survived a nuclear war. According to the developers, they were inspired by games like Little Computer People, XCOM, SimCity, FTL and. In particular, FS is most like the latter, if you remove the depressing atmosphere.

Effective management is the backbone of the economy, so you need to properly prioritize managing your shelter. Each of your inhabitants has not only its own set of characteristics, but also clothing and equipment. Each of them increases in level. And anyone can be sent on a mission to the desert. Or … to secluded places - for procreation - provided that two of your inhabitants liked each other.

Most notably, Fallout Shelter is not exactly a standard economic simulator. For all the freebies, there are no constantly annoying timers that are inherent in such projects. Also, the game does not require a permanent internet connection. But in-app purchases are still available.

As Todd Howard said at E3 a few hours ago, "This is a game that Bethesda has wanted to make since the first iPhone." Perhaps these are too loud words, but fans of the Fallout series should pay attention to this project without fail.

And yes, the game was released exclusively for iOS devices. But this exclusivity is temporary. The developers will announce the release of the game for Android devices a little later.
