Nevertheless, podcasts can also take their rightful place in this series. Sometimes there are situations when videos, games and books are impossible, for example, in shaking vehicles, music is boring, and the radio infuriates with its endless advertising. In this case, it is the podcast on the topic that interests you that is the easiest and most interesting way to fill in the waiting time, trips, walks, and so on.

Once added, the program immediately downloads channel information and displays it in your library. Here you can see the name of the channel and its logo, the time of the last update and the number of programs. If you are subscribed to many programs, then you may find it useful to filter channels by various parameters.

One tap on the name of the channel in the library will open the list of released programs. Please note that just below the name of each program there are several symbols indicating its status. There is a useful function to turn off playback after a specified time, which is useful for those who like to listen to before going to bed.

The built-in player of the application shows us a beautiful podcast cover and, of course, allows us to control its listening. I liked the fast rewind function, with which you can jump 30 seconds back or forward in one tap, which helps in the event that you are distracted, listened, did not understand, or vice versa - you want to skip a boring fragment. If desired, you can close the player window and control playback using the widget on the desktop.

Podcast addict is a completely free application, the functions of which are no different from the paid version of the program, with the exception of displaying ads. In terms of its merits, this is probably one of the best programs in its category, so I highly recommend it.
