Medic, firefighter, taxi driver and others about how their everyday life has changed. And what do we need to do to make their work safer.
We have collected even more information on how to help ourselves and others during a pandemic.
1. Remember personal hygiene
When the coronavirus began to spread in Russia, I was on vacation - I had to go to work earlier. The burden on doctors has increased dramatically. Doctors go to calls a lot: they examine people at home. Nurses take tests, smears.
We also study every day: on weekdays and on weekends. On Saturday, March 21st, the entire hospital watched a seminar from the ministry from nine in the morning to one in the afternoon. All this is necessary so that we can react quickly if we find symptoms of the disease in a patient. And of course, each employee checks the temperature in the morning using a pyrometer: we record the indicators in a log.
The safety rules that must be followed now are the same as for ARVI and influenza. Personal hygiene is key. Wash your hands and do not touch your face again - even when clean. If you do not live alone, use different towels with your household. Do wet cleaning in the apartment more often, and after walking outside, blow your nose and rinse your nose.
2. Try not to pay in cash
Shamil Arsangeriev Driver-partner of the Yandex. Taxi service.
Now, after each trip, I disinfect the car: I wipe the handles, the seats, the entire interior from the inside. Due to the coronavirus, I go to work wearing a medical mask and disposable gloves. The first is the requirement of the law, the second is my own decision. Many passengers continue to pay in cash, which is why I wear gloves.
My appeal is not only to taxi clients, but to all people in general: take the situation seriously and responsibly. Carry protective equipment, antiseptics and disinfectant wipes with you. This is a serious illness and should not be treated recklessly.
Service "" helps to quickly move around the city even during a pandemic. Now the work of drivers is especially valuable: they do not go into self-isolation and continue to work so that you can not use public transport.
The trip will be safer for both you and the driver if you wear a medical mask whenever possible and try to pay for orders using a non-cash method. You can choose to pay by card in the application menu "" when placing an order, in the section "How do you pay?", And also change the choice during the trip - in the column "Payment method". The card number is saved in the application's memory, so you don't have to re-enter it every time.
3. Remember other people - they need food too
Ksenia The seller in the supermarket.
Panic in the store began somewhere in the middle of March: people literally swept from the shelves cereals, pasta, toilet paper, canned food - the famous "set that saves from coronavirus." We did not have time to put a new product on the shelves - it was taken apart in minutes. Probably the most memorable case is when one man bought a whole cart of buckwheat, it seems like 15–20 packs.
Now it has become quieter, people have stopped picking up huge baskets. But I am afraid that this is the calm before the storm, and after some terrible news, people will get scared and start emptying the shelves again.
I want to urge everyone not to buy mountains of food - take as much as you need for a week or two. The shops are still open and if you run out of food you can come and buy something. Remember other people - they need food too.
4. Self-isolation is not a vacation: try not to leave the house
Evgeny Zheltyshev Deputy head of the fire service squad.
Our work hasn't changed much. The main difference: now there is a list of facilities - medical facilities where people with coronavirus are kept. If we extinguish the fire there, after leaving, we will be sure to disinfect combat clothing and monitor the condition of the employees. So far, fortunately, nothing like this has happened. All garrison events were also canceled, including sports competitions and vocational training.
I would like to ask you about one thing: approach the issue responsibly and isolate yourself. Being able to stay at home is not a vacation. It is especially important these days not to visit crowded places: there is a risk of contracting not only coronavirus, but also some other respiratory diseases.
5. Don't panic
Natalya Ignatieva Kindergarten teacher.
Now every morning in kindergarten begins with a meeting with a doctor. For both children and employees. The doctor checks the temperature, asks about the state of health. If suddenly something goes wrong, he sends him home. They began to monitor disinfection even more seriously. Here the bulk of the work fell on the shoulders of the nannies: they process everything, soak the dishes in special means.
Parents are great, they reacted quickly: they brought antiseptics to the kindergarten, whoever could, wrote applications at work and decided to stay at home.
I have only one advice: don't panic! Follow the news, wash your hands often and carefully monitor the health of yours and your children. If you notice that you or your child are not feeling very well, stay at home.
6. Don't forget about disinfection
Denis Yanchik Courier of the partner of the Yandex. Food service.
We have completely switched to a contactless delivery method. I arrive at the place, place an order, take a picture of it, walk three meters away and wait for the customer to come out and pick up the food. We have been doing this for three weeks now. At first, people were divided: some laughed at us, while others asked for contactless delivery during checkout. Now, absolutely everyone takes it seriously and with understanding.
The rest of the work has not changed much, except that more often he began to treat his hands with an antiseptic. The number of orders, according to my observations, has not changed much either - there are still a lot of them. Perhaps there are even more of them, and the delivery services that cooperate with Yandex have expanded the number of couriers.
I ask people about one thing: do not forget about disinfection. Went out for an order, returned home - wash your hands well with soap and water.
Food delivery services allow you to leave your apartment less often and have less contact with other people - this is very important during the spread of the virus.
You can order food at home using two Yandex services:
- «» … Express food delivery, which operates from 7:00 to 00:00 in Moscow and from 7:30 to 23:30 in St. Petersburg. In Yandex. Lavka you can buy not only groceries, canned food or snacks, but also fresh fruits, meat and milk, as well as personal hygiene items and household goods. The courier will deliver the order in 15 minutes or even faster.
-
«» … Delivery of ready-made food from restaurants and cafes. You can order spaghetti carbonara, wok with chicken, Adjarian khachapuri or other dish at your favorite restaurant. The main thing is to follow the rules of contactless delivery - do not forget about safety for yourself and the courier.
