Dynalist is primarily a web application for planning and organizing ideas into lists. The service also has separate apps for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. Registration and use are free. You can buy a subscription to expand the functionality, but the basic version is enough.

The main point of Dynalist is to create lists with the ability to delve endlessly into subsections. So you can organize tasks for work and study, keep a diary, make plans for the week, month, and so on, keep track of purchases. There is an online collaboration function.

In general, the service is not limited to any specific purposes of use, because you can make lists for literally everything. A logical organization will help you sort out thoughts, improve your time management, plan projects. If you like to put everything on the shelves or want to add order to your life, then Dynalist will come in very handy.

To start using the service, you need to register on the site. Dynalist is not Russified, but the navigation is quite intuitive. By default, there is a font that does not support Cyrillic and looks very inconvenient when printing in Russian, but this can be corrected in the settings: just select another standard font.

The design of the service is minimalistic: there is a standard white version, as well as dark, sepia and Christmas red. On the left panel (it can be removed if unnecessary), using the + button, new folders and documents are added, and already created ones will be shown there. On the left there is a favorites icon that opens Bookmarks, which are needed to mark especially important items in the list and not to forget about them. But in the free version, there are only five such bookmarks.

From the menu in the upper right corner, you can open the Shortcuts & Formatting panel: there will be formatting tips that are visually understandable, and information on keyboard shortcuts - you need English to learn them.

The service has LaTeX support. You can insert formulas, code, and images and tags. With the symbol! a date is set (useful for creating reminders and scheduling), @ or # marks the completion of a task, and [places links.

You can edit lists using the context menu or keyboard shortcuts. There are shortcuts for almost everything: for example, Tab can be pressed to move to a level below, and Shift + Tab - to a level higher. A list with ordinary bullets can be turned into a checklist using the context menu or the combination Ctrl (Cmd) + Alt + C. With a paid subscription, a function for creating your own shortcuts appears.

Dynalist is a very convenient service for organizing thoughts and working on any projects. The mobile version of the site also works well, but applications for smartphones or tablets have been released quite recently, so they may still fail.
