You can now upload your tracks to Yandex.Music

If you are looking for where to move your music collection from the VKontakte social network, where you can listen to it now only with ads, then Yandex. Music is an excellent option.

The Yandex. Music service now has the ability to upload your own content. Musical compositions uploaded by users can be made available for general listening. Roughly the same model was used in the VKontakte social network, which has acquired a huge music collection due to this.

Yandex representatives say the new feature is designed to make life easier for novice artists who want to share their work. And ordinary users should be delighted to be able to upload their local collections to the cloud and have all their music in one place.

To upload your music to the Yandex cloud, follow these steps.

1. Click on the link "My Music" at the top right of the service.

2. Go to the "Playlists" section.

   

3. Click on the plus button to create a new playlist.

4. Give the playlist a name and click on the "Load Track" button.

   

5. After downloading the files, the service will scan their tags and in a few minutes they will appear in your music library.

   

We do not yet know about any restrictions on the number of downloaded tracks, the size of one file and the number of plays. We hope that Yandex. Music simply doesn't have them.

In this case, the service will be an excellent alternative for the VKontakte social network, which some users used only as a cloud music storage.
