Make the new version of the browser work with accounts the same as the old one.
You may have noticed that Chrome 69 works a little differently with your Google Account than before. If you sign out of Gmail, YouTube, or some other company service, the browser will stop syncing your entire account. New data such as bookmarks and passwords will not be saved until you manually sign in to your account again.
It should be noted right away that this is not a Chrome bug: the developers confirmed that they intended to make such a change to the browser. Fortunately, there is still a way to roll it back.
- Type chrome: // flags / # account-consistency in the address bar and press Enter.
- Switch the highlighted item from Default to Disabled.
- Click on the blue Relaunch Now button in the lower right corner.
Ready! Now you can sign out of individual services without the fear that Chrome will stop syncing your account.
You may have stumbled upon this post and the above method does not work. This means that Google has already removed the specified parameter from the browser settings, so you just have to come to terms with the company's new policy regarding the synchronization of accounts.
