RECIPES: Burger with beef and feta

Recently I happened to sit on a fairly simple, but not very pleasant diet to cleanse the body. As a result, instead of four days on one specially cooked rice, I survived only two and a half days, after which my body protested. But I didn't want to spoil the results with something very tasty, but not very useful, so I started looking for “healthy” burger recipes (as far as possible) for a healthy diet.

And I found it! Today I want to invite you to try making a beef and feta burger with Greek yogurt dressing - delicious, not harmful and, surprisingly, very fast!

Despite the rather impressive amount of ingredients, it is prepared very easily and rather quickly.

Ingredients: 1/2 kg lean beef, lean feta, fresh cucumbers, 1/2 cup chopped zucchini or courgettes, 180 ml Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup chopped onions, 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, black pepper and salt to taste, 1 teaspoon a spoonful of lemon juice, 1/2 garlic clove, baked pepper (optional) and ciabatta.

Cooking. Rub some of the cucumbers on a coarse grater or chop with a knife (about 1/2 cup) and add to the yogurt. Finely chopped garlic and lemon juice are also sent there, everything is well mixed until a homogeneous paste.

Grind the beef into minced meat and in a bowl, mix it with chopped zucchini, onion, feta, salt, marjoram and pepper. Mix everything well again and form flat patties from the resulting minced meat, adjusting them in size to the size of the ciabatta. Then you send them to the grill. If there is no grill, then you can fry them in a pan, but then you will need to thoroughly blot them from the oil. Also keep in mind that the cutlets will cook a little and you need to make them a little more than buns.

Cut the cucumbers into thin slices and prepare the baked peppers (optional). Place the peppers, cutlet, Greek yogurt sauce, and sliced cucumbers on the sliced ciabatta. Top with the second half of the ciabatta. If you prefer toasted bread, you can grill the ciabatta for a while.

If you don't like ciabatta, you can choose any other type of bread. And the more useful it is, the better.

Bon Appetit;)
