After a week of using Noom, I can say with confidence - I have never had anything like this on an iPhone, and this is the first time I have such a feeling!
I found Noom by accident … I was wandering around Google Play in search of new interesting applications and came across the New Year's TOP of applications from Google. It contained the Noom app, which, in a nutshell, is a comprehensive system that allows you to take control of calorie counting, weight loss and nurturing the habit of eating healthy and healthy food, not calorie-packed shit.
In general, Noom is a very sophisticated app, which usually does not benefit mobile apps. But here you will see an exception to the rule.
When you start working with Noom, you will tell us everything about yourself - eating habits, fitness habits, general mobility, weight and height, weight loss goals and general fitness, which you probably do not have, but would like to have.
Then weekdays begin. You are asked to enter all the food you eat. This must be done in English - there is no other way. Food at Noom is divided into red, yellow, and green. To put it very simply, green food is good, yellow is good, but in moderation, and red is undesirable, but acceptable. Color is just an attempt to take us away from all these carbohydrates, sugars, fiber and fats. Green foods are fruits and vegetables, the calorie density of which is not so high, yellow foods are nuts and oils, coconut products, in which the calorie density is higher, but they are well absorbed, red is sugar drinks, sweets, cookies, white pastries, explanations it is superfluous …
At the end of the day, your goal is to meet the calorie restriction and be as close to the red-yellow-green balance as possible. If the restrictions, for example, 1600 kcal are not enough for you, then go for a run, to the gym, or just go for a walk. The application has a built-in pedometer and can replace the Jawbone UP system or similar. In fact, with the phone, bracelets are not needed at all! Also, Noom has a built-in running app. It is the same as Runkeeper or Endomondo - it calculates the mileage and heart rate, gives voice prompts.
If you work out a heavy hourly interval in the gym, then add it to Noom. You need to set the type of training, duration and intensity (your inner feelings only). By exercising or walking a lot, you will get calorie discounts and can eat more:)
All the way, Noom treats you with tips and helpful articles right inside the app. It turns out a kind of personal trainer who very well helps not to overeat OREO or not to roll a liter of cola.
The gamification mechanism, which assigns you achievement levels, also helps in this. Stimulates to reach more and more new horizons.
