The free application "Around" from Sonetica is a mixture of a geolocation social service and a mobile messenger. That is, you can see who is currently close to you, and immediately write to this person in a convenient chat. This way you can not only communicate with your friends, but also meet new people.

For the application to determine where you are, you do not need to check in, as in Foursquare, the service automatically detects your location, which is updated at intervals you specify, but more on that later.

To register on the service, you will need to enter your phone number, which will receive a confirmation code, then you need to set some profile settings.

User photos can be enlarged and viewed, but only after you upload your avatar. This can be done in the profile settings. Each participant who is already registered in the application can be invited to be friends or just start a conversation with him. Those who have allowed this can see the location on the map. While there are not enough people in the application, so invite your friends via SMS or e-mail.

You can share your location on Facebook or Vkontakte. It's strange that there is no possibility of sharing on Twitter.

Recently, the "Around" IPhone application has been updated to version 2.0, which adds the ability to make a VoIP call. Now from the application you can call friends for free and chat non-stop.
