Applications

1. Embiggen

This is a very simple application that does only one thing: it displays the text you entered in large print on the whole screen. The idea is that this way you can exchange thoughts with people around you without relying on your voice. For example, you need to say something to a person in a noisy room - instead of yelling, just write it on your smartphone and show the screen.

2. Selection

If you need to add a fragment from some text to a reminder, you will no longer have to open your favorite note-taking program and copy it there. Now there is Selection for that. The application allows you to quickly place any text you copied into the notification area so that it is always in front of your eyes.

3. Clippit

If you do a lot of lectures or just love to read paper books, try Clippit. The program allows you to take a photo of a piece of text on the page, highlight the desired fragment with a yellow marker and save for future use. Optionally, you can share the image and send the quote to any other application.

4. Sleeptyme

This program will allow you to plan your sleep wisely. Very few people can just lie down, instantly fall asleep and wake up at a given time - most people have to work out a regimen. Sleeptyme will help you do this by taking into account the duration of the REM sleep phases. Enter the time you want to wake up and the app will tell you the optimal number of hours of sleep and tell you when to go to bed so you can sleep and feel refreshed in the morning.

5. Dark Screen Filter

Now a blue light filter is included in every Android firmware. It makes text easier to read in the dark and protects your eyes. But not everyone likes the standard orange backlight. Dark Screen Filter can color your screen in any color: green, red or even pink. Try it - maybe you will like other shades more.

6. Eumathes

An extremely interesting app from a French high school student on Reddit. The guy got tired of writing notes by hand, and he came up with a program for creating clear and visual cards, where it is easy to collect only the most important information. Eumathes can be used to study history, foreign languages, mathematics, biographies of famous people - whatever.

You create a card on a specific topic, assign it a title, comment and tags, and then fill it with information: dates, names, text fragments, formulas and other data. Very comfortably. The only disadvantage of the program is that it is in English.

7. Workout Timer

Timer for intense interval training. You enter three parameters: set time, rest duration, and number of sets. Then press the "Start" button and train. The program notifies you about the beginning and end of exercises by voice, and also collects training statistics. If necessary, you can create several presets for different types of activity in order to switch between them more conveniently.

8. Taskito

Taskito is another case management application that differs from many similar programs in its quality. It has a nice interface, lots of features, customizable reminders, an integrated calendar and a board like Trello for planning big projects.

There are three types of records in Taskito: a recurring task (to organize routine and develop useful habits), a note (a text with a detailed description, but not tied to specific deadlines), and, in fact, a simple one-time task. In addition, the program has many settings and as many as 15 interface themes to choose from.
