The WOD app helps you keep fit when you don't have the time or space to do it.
For those who are often on the road, it is very difficult to find time for regular sports. If for one reason or another the gym is not for you, but at the same time you want to tidy up your body, you will surely love the WOD mobile app for bodyweight training. No additional equipment is required to train with WOD, which means that you can train with it both at home and on the road.
What's in the app
The free version of the application contains seven basic sets of exercises. There are more than a hundred of them in the Pro version, and they are constantly updated.
According to the developers, training with WOD takes 7 to 20 minutes. But in fact, you yourself can adjust the duration of the workout, if you want to perform additional sets. The pro version of the application allows you to save your favorite complexes and repeat exactly them instead of randomly offered sets.
The application includes both strength exercises and cardio loads, in particular running. But since it is not present in all complexes, you can skip it if there are no suitable conditions for jogging.
How to start training with WOD
To start a workout, click on Start Workout under the selected set of exercises, start the stopwatch and start. If you need to take a break while exercising, you can pause the stopwatch. And if you can't wait to show off your sports achievements, the application allows you to share them on social networks and instant messengers.
Unfortunately, the WOD interface only supports English, which means you're likely to come across unfamiliar exercise names. However, the developers took this into account and embedded video instructions into the application that clearly demonstrate how to perform this or that exercise. To see them, click on the name of the exercise.
All other interface elements are intuitive, despite the lack of Russian localization: the application is as minimalistic as possible. There is nothing in it that would distract from the main task - intense training.
The app has a user profile where you can view your workout history. In this case, registration and subsequent authorization are not required.
And finally, the main problem that the application solves is formulated by the developers as follows: "Do not think, but take it and do it." You do not need to choose a training program, think over what to do today and what next. Everything is decided for you. You just need to launch the application and do what it suggests, without thought or excuse. In fact, WOD performs the functions of a personal trainer, only it makes it cheaper, at a convenient time and in any place.
While the application is available only for users of iOS devices, however, the developers do not exclude that in the future there will be a version for Android.
