Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 12 since the start of closed testing among users with developer accounts. Now every owner of a supported iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch can try a new version of the mobile OS for their gadget.
How to install iOS 12 beta
1. Create a backup of your device so that you can roll back to the previous version of the OS if necessary.
2. Go to the program website and click "Register" (if you have not previously participated in testing) or "Login". The best way to do this is through the mobile Safari browser.
3. Log in with your Apple ID at. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, enter the verification code.
4. Restart your smartphone. After that, a link to the beta version of the operating system will appear in the "Software update" section in the settings. Make sure iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and update the software.
5. Wait for the beta version to download, confirm its installation.
