  • TV movie, thriller.

The only film in the review, but what a one! A film adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Death Note from Netflix. Judging by the trailer, the cinematography and directing are far from the finesse of the animated version.

The action has moved to Seattle, and the film itself looks more like an action than a psychological thriller. The images of the main characters are also very different: if in the manga Light is depicted as a diligent and perceptive excellent student who has success in the society of both friends and girls, then in the Netflix film he is presented as a stereotypical offended teenager who dreams of revenge on everyone. But Ryuk performed by William Dafoe seems to be a masterpiece.
