Combine dry ingredients after sifting them. In a separate container on a fine grater, grate the zucchini (do not squeeze excess moisture), beat in a couple of eggs there, pour in the sour cream and add sugar.

Combine dry mix and liquids together. Chocolates can add dark chocolate crumbs to the dough, but this is not necessary.

Pour the dough into a parchment-covered mold (we have 12x22 cm) and leave in the oven for 55–65 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups grated zucchini (one medium-sized fruit)
  • 120 ml sour cream;
  • 100 g brown sugar;
  • 50 g white sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 120 g flour;
  • 60 g cocoa powder;
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla;
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda;
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder;
  • ½ teaspoon salt;
  • 90 g dark chocolate + for decoration.

Preparation

  1. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder, add salt and vanillin to them, mix thoroughly.
  2. Separately combine the grated zucchini (do not squeeze out excess moisture) with sugar, sour cream and a couple of eggs.
  3. Mix dry ingredients with liquid ingredients, and add the resulting dough with chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the dough into a 12 x 22 cm parchment-lined dish and bake for 55–65 minutes at 180 degrees.
  5. Decorate the cooled loaf with melted chocolate and chocolate chips if desired.
