The Governor does not personally go to sea. Fleets are run by captains, and the more experienced they are, the better their subordinates fight. Some sailors are known for their jewelry aiming, while others masterfully maneuver, taking ships from under enemy fire. The choice and development of certain talents of the captain greatly affect the tactics and outcome of the battle.

Formation is the most important element of naval combat. The game helps to build the fleet so that it has maximum firepower, but does not take into account the specifics of different types of ships. Each type of ship has its own strengths and weaknesses, and therefore simple superiority in guns does not guarantee victory.

The Captains plot is a series of naval military campaigns along real trade routes of the 15th – 17th centuries. The rewards for completing the game will be treasures and resources necessary for the development of the city and the fleet, as well as invaluable experience.

Having reached a certain level of development, the player will gain access to the social component of the "Captains" and will be able to join the guild. Membership in one of the governors' unions allows you to request and provide assistance to other participants, organize joint sea hunts for especially valuable treasures and fight with rival organizations.

If it seems to you that at this stage the game is already too complicated and overloaded with various functions and capabilities, then just pump a little more and get access to distant seas and lands. At this point, it turns out that the player's city is just a grain of sand on the world map.

Thousands of settlements are scattered around, ruled by other players, rich in resources and treasures of the island and countless fleets, prowling in search of profit. All this can be explored and captured, if, of course, you are ready to fight with competitors.
