It is easier to work on yourself and achieve your goals if you have a personal assistant at hand. Productive claims its role in helping to set and focus on goals, track progress, and receive reminders when needed.
- a kind of log of achievements. The main screen of the application collects the scheduled activities of the current day. A new habit is added with a swipe down, and you enter its name yourself or choose from an extensive list of standard ones. Then you just need to assign an icon and plan a schedule. Created habits are grouped on the home screen by the time of day you assigned them. Subjective boundaries of morning, day and evening are configured in Options → Times of day. Badges in the corner of the icon and notifications are also disabled there.
The app developers have created an exhaustive list of popular habits and even set up schedules that often match them. So, if you choose Go for a run, then Productive will automatically enter Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday on the selected days, and Make my bed will schedule for the morning of each day.
Swiping to the right marks the action as completed, and clicking on it reveals a calendar showing progress. Full statistics for all habits are displayed on the Life log tab. In addition to the calendar with marks of completed plans, Perfect days is displayed there - the number of days when you managed to comply with everything that was planned, the total number of completed habits, the average daily rate and the maximum successful current streak sequence.
The obvious downside to Productive is that you won't leave the Create Habit screen if it's already selected from the list. To cancel your action, you will need to complete this process, tap on the task on the main screen and delete it from there. In addition, the application has confusing navigation, which at first distracts from the main purpose. Nevertheless, Productive copes with its task, although it differs from its competitors only in design. You can download the new product for free in the App Store, and thanks to the generosity of the developers - within a few weeks and update to the pro version.
