How to print

Surely, as a child, you sculpted crafts from salt dough, and this safe material can be used to print for holiday cookies.

You will need:

  • 2 cups of flour;
  • a glass of salt;
  • ¾ a glass of water;
  • 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil;

Everything is thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous structure, after which a seal can be molded. Make a conical shape, as in the picture below, and on a flat surface, using a toothpick, pencil or any other convenient tool, make an inscription. Just keep in mind that the inscription on the cookies will be in a mirror image, so as not to get indistinct scribbles.

You can make several seals: with a name, different wishes, hearts. Ready stamps should be left somewhere for a day in a warm, dry place, and then baked in the oven. Half an hour at 50ºC and then about 10 minutes at 100ºC. The main thing is that the oven heats up gradually, otherwise the seals may crack.

Mixing the ingredients

For the cookies you will need (for 15 pieces):

  • 1 pack of butter;
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ glasses of sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • pink food;
  • 1, 5-2 cups flour;

Mix oil, salt, sugar and flour until smooth, add almond extract and pink dye there. If you cannot find almond extract, you can grind the almonds in a coffee grinder and add the resulting flour instead of the extract.
