You can create a sequence of actions and save it for later use.
Google has released a major update for Google Sheets. Its main feature is steel. They allow you to save sequences of actions so that you do not have to constantly perform them manually.
The new function is located in the "Tools" tab. You need to select "Macros" and click "Record Macro". After that, you go through the entire sequence of actions and save it. Then, to repeat it, you just need to run the macro.
When you add a macro, a Google Apps script is automatically created. Therefore, if desired, it can be edited through the script editor in the same "Tools" tab.
The company has made a number of other changes to Google Sheets. Added the ability to add page breaks for printing tables and turn cells into checkboxes, support for custom sheet sizes, new options for grouping rows and columns. It is also now possible to group data in pivot tables by week, month and year.
These innovations will become available to all users in the coming weeks.
