Among the applications and services for meditation, Headspace stands apart. The service works by subscription and is definitely worth the money. But if you're looking to try a free alternative, Zazn Meditation is a good choice.
If you want to learn meditation, then there is nothing better to find with Headspace. Andy Puddicombe has managed to create a service that teaches meditation in a leisurely, calm manner so well that you feel progress in a few weeks. Several lessons in Headspace are available for free, the rest must be purchased by subscription. Our author Farid Karimov tested the paid version of the service and was satisfied with it.
Zazn Meditation is a free and simplified analogue of Headspace. The application allows you to meditate on your own and also contains several lessons with a virtual trainer.
Self-meditation is enabled by default. For a lesson with a trainer, go to the Guided tab and select the type of meditation. There are breathing techniques, pain relieving techniques, and body scan meditation.
In each of the types, you can choose not only the duration, but also the voice that will lead the lesson: male or female.
In the settings, you can set a daily meditation reminder. The lessons at Zazn are good, and the voice, both male and female, speaking about the technique is pleasant. The app is free and does not offer any purchases. Ideal for those who want to learn how to meditate.
